New Medium Mastery.

Growing up as a mostly 2D artist. I have found out that the art of having a child has brought a very new outlook to me. I don't have time to draw. As sad as it sounds I don't. A 3 year old just does not get the same enjoyment out of seeing his mommy draw as he does when she works with clay. Especially when said 3 year old gets to play with said clay.

I have been "researching" online and I have discovered a new medium to try out. It is papier mache clay. I learned a recipe for it. So now all I have to do is buy the supplies and get making it. It is actually cheaper than polymer and you have a wider variety of things you can do (size wise anyway).

Hopefully I will get my lightbox set up so I can take some pictures of the many creations I have made so this blog is not so empty. So until it gets made I think I might do some featuring on here. So here is some of the original needle feltings of Kay Petal. To see more visit her website.
