{{closed--GIVEAWAY}} Sceamin' Katz Kreations
Sorry the Giveaway is closed.
Today's giveaway is AWESOME! And I mean it!! Today is an artist feature for Tena of Sceamin' Katz Kreations. This woman is T-A-L-E-N-T-E-D She does scroll saw work called fret work. This stuff is not the stuff you see where everything is symetrical. Those are done with a laser and pretty much takes the fun out of it. She does it just with her hands and a scroll saw. AWESOME! (sorry I'm a little excited) This work is so beautiful.
Am I right or what? Beautiful!
Stop by Sceamin' Katz Kreations for more of her work.
{{GIVEAWAY TIME!!!}}
Tena was generous enough to giveaway one of her beautiful pieces. This One-of-a-kind Wolf wall hanging. {{$25 value}}

{{CLOSED}}Martha Stewart Microbeads Review and GIVEAWAY!!!
This giveaway is now closed. The winner will be notified via email.
Thank you to all who joined in with the fun. Your comments are greatly appreciated.
Stick around for weekly giveaways!
Here it is as promised, a Martha Stewart Microbeads review and Giveaway.
Before I get started I need to tell you that this review and giveaway is in no way endorsed by Martha Stewart. I am doing this all on my own. The giveaway prize is actually from part of my Christmas present. I just love them so much I wanted to share them with lovely crafters like you. :)
The microbeads I am reviewing are from Martha Stewart Crafts. They are available in 15 different colors. I unfortunately only have 14, the store I ordered them from did not have Onyx and it did not seem worth paying more for the shipping of Onyx than the sale price of the color it self. I don't really know what to say other than I think the quality of these beads are great. Of course I don't really have any thing to compare them to. I have read that you can change there color with some other product that I do not remember what it is called. I know for my purposes they are perfect. I am sure you can find some that are cheaper and not as big of quantity if you want to. But I just loved the look of the jars so much that I thought I just had to have them. And if you have an extra spice rack laying around you can have a custom storage shelf for them. (see previous entry). Microbeads are easy to use. You use them just like glitter and the create dimension, luster and texture on scrapbook pages, cards, gift tags and anything you want.
They are great and they look really cool in the jars or rolling around on a paper plate. (don't ask)
GIVEAWAY TIME!!!
One lucky reader will receive a sample of every color... except onyx because I don't have that. and it is a decent amount. I have seen on Etsy people are selling this amount for 2 or 3 dollars a baggy. So if you add that all up that is about $42.00. Wow! (maybe I should have thought this through) Just kidding!!! I am doing this because I love y'all and I think this is something everyone who crafts will enjoy.
1. Comment below saying what you plan to use the Microbeads for. (1 entry)
2. Follow the blog. And leave a comment saying you did so. (1 entry)
3. Share this blog post on Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr or your own blog and leave a comment with a link saying you did so. (1 entry per post... up to 4 entries there!)
Make sure you leave your email address so I can know how to contact you.
Giveaway open until next Thursday, January 12, 2012 9:00 PM Central Time.
Good Luck and Happy Crafting!

I am so bad.
This week has been a yucky one. Mr. Isaac has been sick all week since Monday. Man that totally threw off the groove. I totally forgot it was his mother's birthday. And frankly so did he. But he had a reason he was tossing his cookies for a few days. Anyway I quickly whipped this up for her. It is my first card. :)
Enjoy.
So if you know who she is please do not comment to her until after Sunday's conference session. Oh and do not show her the blog post obviously. That would be just mean.
Enjoy.

waiting for their mark....
| The design has changed again. I wanted something more simplistic. |
| Oh, and I don't think I will used these straight pegs for the guys. I don't know. I really like the bell shape. We will see.. |
WOOT!!!
I am so grateful I don't have to teach for about a month. That is such a relief for this crafting season. I hope I can actually make some money with these little dudes and dudettes.

ketchup...
I have been gone for so long... well, I was still here just not. The craft show on the 8th of May was a flop. I think I really need to get working so there is enough product for the customers. I also need to pick a product and have it be the center of my focus. I am really liking the miniature life. I am learning new ways of making dolls and I hope I can keep up the flow. I just don't think there are many people interested in miniatures around here. I have taken a break from any crafts what so ever since the show. It totally wore me out trying to finish that doll house. I didn't even take any pictures I was so busy. I didn't even finish it completely.
I guess I did work on some crafts. I started building the Orchid. I am turning it into Santa's workshop. Santa and a few elves will be there. I don't think I am going to be worrying about posing ability. There is another show in November. I think that one does better just because it is closer to Christmas. I saw a display over at The Giddy Kimper and Bella Bell Dolls I love the way they displayed their dolls. I think I want to do that.. Granted I need that many dolls to display.

Oh and little miss Rogue-alina (my cat) is pregnant. She finally came in while I wrote this, her belly still swollen with kitties. I was worried she had not been in the house for the past 2 days so I got worried she was going to have them out side. Hopefully we can get her to stay in. We left the window open upstairs so maybe she would come in and she finally did. When I saw her come back in I quickly ran up stairs and shut it. Maybe we can fix up a place in our room so she has them there. Yeah right....

It's Official!
My easter bunny was featured on UltimatePaperMache.com. Which I think I should say is pretty neat. I have never been featured before. I am now also a member of Magical Holiday Artist Etsy Group. I hope I can get the exposure I need to pay off $20,000 dollars of debt I have I almost wish I had a few more years to pay it off. But I only have 2, YIKES. I don't want to leave my little boy to go to work.
Oh yeah so I posted it on the sidebar but I have an Etsy now. I am super excited. The link is www.smariecarlson.etsy.com. I am planning on adding at least one item a week. But since it is Easter time I am going to try and get a variety of items up for sale. So if there is anything you want feel free to buy it. Or if you want something custom feel free as well. I don't have much up but just some odds and ends I have been putzing with.
Well, I am off to visit my favorite blogs, then pull the turkey out of the oven and enjoy.
I also have another blog. Our homesteading blog. www.enchantedfamiliarfarm.blogspot.com eventually I will have a link on the sidebar.
